You…A leading tier 1 investment bank is seeking a successful and highly motivated candidate to join their prime brokerage risk team in London. You will be working with a large portfolio of hedge funds and will have significant exposure to the trading floor and senior management. The role also involves the following:
- Tracking the risk profile of the prime services business highlighting issues or concern.
- Use various risk measures, including stress testing and correlation analysis.
- Provide real time margin quotes for hedge funds` transactions.
- Working with the sales force, senior management, clients and support areas, such as credit risk control, operations and legal, to resolve risk management issues, building consensus and developing practical solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a new risk infrastructure, control framework and risk policy for the Prime Services business.
- Possession of the following is highly advantageous:
- Have strong market risk/prime brokerage risk experience.
- Be educated to a Batchelor`s level, with MSc/PhD graduates being at an advantage.
- Have strong knowledge of Excel and Access.
- OTC Fixed Income Derivatives (Swaps, FRA`s, Caps/Floors, Credit Derivatives)
- Foreign Exchange (Fwd/Swaps, Settlement, Options)
- Commodities
- OTC Equity Derivatives (Options, Swaps, CFD`s)
